As scientific collaborator for the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH), Lucien Colliander is in charge of the execution of the Swiss Narcotic Act, with a special focus on the regulation of heroin-assisted treatments, drug checking programs as well as drug consumption regulation. Before joining the FOPH, he passed the Swiss bar examination and worked as a scientific collaborator at Neuchâtel University. He also collaborated with the Global Commission on Drug Policy as a reviewer. Lucien Colliander holds a B.A (magna cum laude) and a M.A (summa cum laude) in law from the University of Lausanne as well as a M.A in international affairs from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva.
